Cathy's Birthday

For Cathy’s birthday, she wanted to have a nice dinner in town.  So we took the bus to the art district and started out with a drink at the Sky Bar which overlooks the plaza where we were going for dinner. 

 

This bar is on the roof of an ultra-modern boutique hotel.  They have a small pool and live music up there on weekends.  The view was great as we watched the sun set on the Pacific, while the lights came on in the city as we looked the other direction.

 

We had dinner at the restaurant rated number one in Mazatlan.   The food and wine were excellent, and we had the place to ourselves since it was a weeknight.
