Summer Vacation 2014
Yes, we take a vacation from Mexico during the hot summer
months. This year we went to a four day
music festival in the redwoods of northern California. We tent camped with 500 other festival folks,
and had a great time.
Our camp was called Camp Always Get What You Want
It was great camping under the giant redwoods
Our friends Rick and Marilyn from Tortuga played the open mic.
The main stage area was always full of listeners and dancers. The music was
mostly bluegrass, but there was a little bit if everything.
The rest of the summer was spent working on
our house. We put in new windows, new
siding, and painted the exterior. We
also did some interior painting, bath renovation, and kitchen work. We finished the job about a week before we
were going back to Mexico, so we didn’t really get a chance to enjoy the fruits
of our labor. We sure will next summer
though!
