Back in Baja 2014
We were finally on our way again. Rich put the watermaker back together with
the new parts and everything works great.
The boat moves along much faster than the last couple of years due to
the new paint and spotlessly clean bottom and prop. By the way, Cathy polished the entire prop by herself, and it looks and works great.

We left San Carlos at first light and headed
due south to bay at San Juanico. We had
a lot of friends anchored there and it was only about a 14 hour trip. We knew this place well enough that we could
anchor here under radar in total darkness.

Our friends Dale and Dina on Double Dahrma saw our nav lights coming in
and radioed to let us know whose light was who, and where there was the most
room. We were surprised to find that we
anchored quite a bit further away from everyone that we thought, but better
safe than sorry! In the morning we
pulled up anchor and found a nice spot protected behind some islands near
Tortuga.

Marilyn organized a Halloween
dinghy raft up, where everyone brought food and drinks and tied our dinghies
together in a nice cove. Some kids on a
nearby boat came by for trick or treats.
Our friends on Joss were also here, but they were very sick with stomach
issues, and spent their time resting on the boat. We can all sympathize as everyone gets sick
down here sooner or later.

Water temp was nice and warm, but our dive skins let you stay in the water a little longer
